Three people are in a bedroom with three beds, and one of them recently slipped out of the house and then quietly returned. The clue is hidden in what they are wearing.
The challenge
In this detective-style puzzle, two women lie in the beds on the left and right, while a man is in the middle. The task is to work out which of the three went বাইরে during the night and then got back into bed without being noticed.
At first glance, there is very little to go on. The scene looks ordinary, and no direct sign points to one person immediately. The useful clue is not in their faces or sleeping positions, but in their clothing.
How to check the pattern
Look closely at the footwear and clothing of all three people. One small detail shows that someone came back in a hurry after being outside.
The puzzle works because the evidence is subtle: only one person appears to have brought something from outside back into bed.
The solution
The woman on the right is the one who slipped out of the house. She got back into bed wearing dirty shoes, which reveals that she had been outside.
The dirty shoes are the single clue that gives the answer away.
